About Habiba Garba Studio

Habiba Garba Studio is a creative venture that explores the fusion of pan-African culture with British influences. My journey began during studies at Kingston University, and since then I have worked in luxury, ready-to-wear and couture fashion, and have been a part of creating collections shown at London Fashion week and Paris Couture Fashion Week. I am intrigued by the historical context of clothing, and how meaning can be reinterpreted in a modern context for a new audience. I champion craftsmanship and inquisitive design, and believe that intelligent clothing is a gateway to self-expression.
